Primers

Hey guys! Today im writing a review on Primers. What are primers and are they worth it? Let me tell you.
Primers are a base product that you use before applying your make up. The whole idea is to prep & prime your skin so that you can apply your make up easily & will help to make your foundation last longer. Some people agree with this and some disagree. But it is all down to the actual product itself. There are many forms and brands of primers, some are like fluid, some are creamy & some are like a soft mousse. They come in jars, containers, tubes & vials. With so many brands in the market to choose from, people tend to experiment to find which is best suited for their skin type.
Here i have tested two different brands and will give you my opinion.
The 1st primer i got is L'Oreal studio secrets primer priced at £12.99 And the 2nd is Barbra Daly Primer by Tesco priced at £10. Both of them are of equal quantities at 15ml each. The L'Oreal primer is pinkish in color with a slightly stiff texture. It glides on smoothly and preps and primes your face in one easy step. The Barbra Daly primer is a beigey-orange color. The texture is soft and smooth and feels creamy, almost velvet like. This primer is softer than L'Oreals one and its application is quick and easy.
My verdict on the 2 primers?
My 1st favourite has got to be the Barbra Daly primer. Why? Firstly the price. Its a few pounds cheaper than L'Oreals, but price is not really an issue for me. If it does a good job and feels comfortable, i would be happy to pay extra. Another thing is the texture of this primer. This primer is much softer than L'Oreals and feels nicer on my face. So i would definately recommend Barbra Daly's primer more than the L'Oreal one. Do check it out and leave your comments below. Would love to hear from you  :)
