Superdrug Super Buys ✋
Hello my sweet friends, how are you all? Hope you are keeping well & warm! 🤗 These last 10 days have been nothing but cold & miserable! The mornings seem just about alright, but when night falls, it's very cold & frosty! 🤧❄ Definately seems like winter is here, and with Christmas round the corner, everything looks cold and wintry! ☃️
I'm back again with another post. This time it's about some great things I bought from Superdrug. So let me get started! 🤗

• Calm Skin skincare Hydrating 2 in 1 Serum & Moisturiser. 50ml. £2.99
• Revolution Makeup Blur Stick 30g £9.99

So first up is this Blur stick by Revolution makeup. This I got from Milton Keynes a while back, from the big Superdrug store over there. It was a new product that just launched with a few other products in the Revolution Makeup Pro range. The Pro range tends to be a bit more high-end, and cost a bit more. I didn't even know they done a pro range because I've never really seen it you see... 🙁 Anyways I was unfamiliar with this product, so asked a shop assistant what this product is and how do you use it? She told me it's like a Primer, in the form of a stick. You apply it on your face to blur out your pores. Wasn't sure but still went ahead and bought it! 🤣
At first when I saw this, seriously I thought it was a Deodorant, because it was like that in the form of a solid stick! It feels smooth when applied to the face, but after a few uses, I had a breakout of spots, so I stopped using it. Also funnily enough, the wierd thing was that you have to twist it up to use it, after a few twists, the thing got stuck and wasn't turning anymore! 🤯 I was panicking, because I thought I wasted my money on a product that was still full but wasn't functioning anymore, and will have to throw it away because it didn't come out! But I think it's ok now, managed to somehow un-jam the thing and now the stick is twisting normally. Pheww!! 🤗
This next item is the Vitamin E Hydrating mist. I bought this the same day I bought the Calm Skin 2 in 1 moisturiser & serum. These 2 items were on offer at £2.99 each. Vitamin E is good for our skin, and with a Hydrating face mist like this, you can't go wrong! 🤗 I have dry skin, and sometimes even moisturiser alone can't keep my skin from drying out, so having a handy bottle of Face mist to hand, keeps my skin looking plump & fresh! 👌🏼 Infused with the goodness of vitamin E, this mist spray is a great purchase! 💝
This 2 in 1 Serum & moisturiser is a complete product. A serum and a Moisturiser in 1 handy bottle? Yes, thats correct! 👍🏼 And another beauty about this product? It calms your skin. ❤ A light but deeply moisturing serum with the added benefit of Chamomile & Hylauronic acid, this moisteriser helps to calm & soothe the skin of stress & irritants, aswell as improve skin clarity and texture. This serum has a fresh feeling effect on my skin, and must say does a good job at soothing my skin 👌🏼 My all time favourite is the Shea Butter Aveeno lotion which does wonders for my skin all year round by helping to keep my face healthy and nourished 😘 But this serum moisturiser is just as good too 😊
And last of all is this foundation. It is a "much raved about" product. The Conceal & define concealer was a huge success and so Superdrug has decided to make a Foundation version of the concealer. What a Great Idea! 😍
So basically, it is the same thing but this is a foundation version. It still has the 'full coverage' formula and the bottle & applicator is exactly the same as the concealer. There isn't many shades available as the concealer though, but that could be down to the fact that it just launched into the market, so every custom shade is not available as yet. I bought the shade F10 as it was the closest shade to my skin. 👍🏼
My first impression on this? As much as I like the concealer, the foundation is good too. But it felt a bit dry on my face. The coverage is exactly what I need. But a dry foundation that feels even more dry on my face doesn't really work for me. So to remedy this I apply a face oil just before I apply this foundation. That way it doesn't feel extra dry on my face. Otherwise this foundation is a holy grail for me! 🤗
