Clinique skincare Range

Hello there friends. Today i want to tell you about a skincare range that i was excited to try. Its the Clinique 3 step skincare range. This is the first time i have ever tried this. I purchased it from Boots for £20 a kit. There is a offer going on that says you must purchase 2 or more clinique products, either two skincare products, or 1 skincare plus foundation to obtain a free gift of clinique products in a cute make up bag. Or if you buy just the Sonic system cleansing brush (worth £79) then you can claim the free gift set.
Because i have never used clinique products before i was unsure about my selection. When i went to the store, there was a dedicated Clinique section full of different skincare products, all ranging in 4 different types of skin. They were numbered from 1 to 4.
Kit 1 is for very dry to dry skin.
Kit 2 is for dry to combination skin.
Kit 3 is for combination to oily skin.
Kit 4 is for oily skin.
So as you can see there are 4 different skincare kits designed for different types of skin. Because i am not familiar with any of this, & neither have i used any of clinique's products, so i dont know what i was suposed to be buying. After a brief chat with the shop representative, she suggested to me that i am more in the dry to very skin group as i have sensitive skin & have not really used clinique before. So she suggested i try kit 1 as it is the basic & most mildest kit for all beginners who are trying out clinique products for the first time. But because i wanted the free gift, i also purchased a 2nd kit being kit number 2 for dry to combination skin. Each kit costs £20 so i got 2 kits for £40 resulting in me getting the free gift.
I have only just used kit 1 yesterday (tuesday) for the 1st time since i purchased it on sunday. After first use i didnt really notice much difference. Its a 3 step skin care system that requires you to wash your face with a facial wash followed by a rinsing lotion which basically wipes off excess dirt & oils from your face following the face wash. Then you moisturise your face with a gentle moisturiser which finishes off your 3 steps.
It says on the box you will notice an improvement in your skin as you use it over a period of 10 consecutive days, and each kit is designed to last 1 month. So let me use it for a month then i will write a post follow up review of the clinique kits. The packaging is not anything all that fancy, just that the brand name says it all. Each kit has been specially formulated for all kinds of skin types, helping to address all your skin problems in just 3 easy steps, which is wash, rinse & moisturise. All the products are mild and cause no irritation as they have been dermatologically tested.
I have used some garnier products for cleansing, wiping & moisturising which i have found improvement in my skin & feels really clean, not to mention the price which is obviously more affordable. I would personally say Garnier products are very good in the mid to basic range of skincare products compared to Clinique. They have more or less same or similar products that do the same thing as clinique, but just that clinique becomes a high end product range that simplifies the skincare routine. In my opinion both are good as each other but for budget-wise people, i would recommend Garnier over L'Oreal & Clinique for the posh money spenders.
Is there anyone who is willing to shed some light on clinique products & what their thoughts are about it? Would be great to hear your reviews on it. Comment below & hope to catch you guys again soon. Take care & stay beautiful!  :)
