Estee Lauder Double wear Foundation review

Hi friends how are you all? Hope you are well. Let me start off by wishing you all Eid Mubarak to those celebrating. Today is Eid ul Adha. The eid that celebrates the sacrificing of cattle. It is a important event in the islamic calendar of when Prophet Ibrahim (a.s) was commanded by God to Sacrifice his Son Ismail as a test from God. It is a very important and Holy event that is celebrated by Muslims all over the world, as well as marking the religious ritual of Hajj or pilgrimage that is also carried out by Muslims. So to celebrate this event, we do so wishing each other Eid Mubarak & visiting each other to send greetings and restore peace within each other by embracing and shaking hands.
Today's post is about a purchase i made recently. I bought Estee Lauder's Double wear Foundation. I wanted to see what all the hype was about. Well firstly i can say is that its a high end product. So can you be sure of the good quality.
Being a designer brand it's well known. The product seems similar to MAC foundations & Urban Decay. The coverage is pretty good also. But i think it's down to the way you apply the foundation. People apply foundations with make up brushes, sponges, beauty blenders etc. So the finished look will also determine it aswell. There are quite a lot of shades to choose from so you can pick the shade that matches closest to your skintone.
The feel and blendability of the foundation is also very good. It feels powery soft to touch and blends well. It's fragrance free and suits most skin types so that shouldn't be too much of an issue. As for the packaging, it comes in a glass bottle with a screw on lid. The quantity is 30ml and doesn't even have a pump! But the price is very high depending on where u purchase it from. I purchased mines from Boots at the cost of £30.00 other shops like John Lewis, Debenhams sell it between £31.00 & £35. It comes in a small Blue & Gold color cardboard box with no other extra accessories like a sponge or brush.
My opinion?? Well it is a good foundation, and all other features are okay, just pricewise is a tad expensive. But i guess it's all about the brand name so can't really complain much, lol πŸ˜„

Anyways i've given my reviews on this foundation, and people with luxury taste can afford it. If the foundation does good for you, then you will buy it whatever the price. And as for brand conscious  people, it's all about the brand! 😊

Quality: 4/5
