Family seaside trip to Bournemouth, Uk. 22nd August 2017

Hello dear readers, how are you all? Hope you are well. It's back to school for most kids and i'm already feeling the mad rush! πŸ˜„ My kids have settled down well in their new classes, so that's a relief! πŸ˜₯ As I said before that the summer holidays will fly by, it sure did!                             But i'm content with the precious time I got to spend with my friends & families. I actually felt like I did alot, as I was out & about, travelling to places, stayed home, did things with my kids, spent time with family etc etc. So i'm glad I made the most of it as I certainly can't go back on those moments now... πŸ˜‰
Anyways, i'm back again. Today's blog is about our family trip to Bournemouth Seaside ⛱ This holiday, I managed to go to 2 seasides. The other one I went to was Clacton on sea. This was the one I went to on the 1st of August with a community group. But don't worry I will fill you on that trip too! The Bournemouth trip is the one I went to with my whole family! 😊

On the 22nd August, me & my family had been planning a trip to a seaside. We wanted to take the kids so that they can enjoy the seaside. We planned to go to Bournemouth as it is a Sandy beach with many attractions. We've also been to this seasode before ages ago, so we thought we'll go there again. We hired a 16 seater minibus along with the driver πŸšƒ
We set out for the trip about 10.45am. We went early because we wanted to spend some time over there and check everything out. The journey was fine, wasn't much traffic delay. Singing along & chatting the journey through. ♬πŸŽ§πŸ“»πŸ—£ The journey took about 2 hours from Luton.
We arrived in Bournemouth by 1.30pm.
The weather was very nice so it made our day trip more enjoyable. Upon arrival, we went down to the beach. We looked for a nice spot then put our belongings down & made ourselves comfortable. The kids were excited to have a splash in the sea, so we got the kids dressed in their swimwear. The water was not that cold, and there was alot of waves, so everybody was having fun swimming and splashing about! πŸ˜„πŸ–πŸŒŠπŸŒž

After spending about an hour and a half on the beach, we decided to have lunch at 3 'o clock. We got home cooked food in 2 cool boxes, along with snacks & drinks to have for our picnic. We sat away from the beach area, so that our food doesn't spoil from the sand πŸ‡πŸŒπŸŒ―πŸΏπŸ”πŸ—πŸŸπŸœ
It was around 4.15 pm after we finished eating lunch & taking a small rest. After refreshing ourselves, we carried on with the rest of the sight seeing of the beach. On the other end of the beach was the Bournemouth Pier. Surrounding the pier was gift shops, ice cream stands, a small cafe selling hot & cold foods and lots of other attractions like the Bournemouth wheel, fairground rides, the Oceanarium and also a cool train ride, that takes you on a tour around the beach! πŸŽ πŸŽ‘πŸŽ’πŸš‚

We went on some rides, had some refreshments & ice creams while we were there, but couldn't quite make it into the Oceanarium or on the train rides, as we ran out of time. Maybe next time when we visit again, we will come to the attractions first & go to the beach later, as the opening & closing times of some attractions differ throughout the year & we didn't really know. So will will make an effort next time so we can have maximum enjoyment of our day trip! πŸ€— πŸ–’

Also there was one thing different about the pier. Last time when we came ages ago, the pier was a free place to visit, without any entry fee, and also it was much bigger. But this time it looks a fraction smaller, with less amenties, and also you have to pay an entry fee to go inside the pier πŸ˜• Don't know when this change happened, but it was a shame we couldn't quite go inside the pier. And also beacause the pier looked smaller, so can only guess there wont be much to see inside other than games & arcade spinning machines, so we just skipped the pier and went onto see what else was going on around that area.

After doing all those things it was time for us to head back home. The time was 6pm by then. We made our way to the mini bus, the driver was waiting for us to come near the drop off area of the beach side. It was a long day and the kids especially all had a great time. Everybody was tired & exhausted, and most of us slept the way through 😴πŸ˜ͺ It took us two hours to go back home aswell. The skies were slowly turning grey & dark, but luckily didn't rain anymore unlike on the way to Bournemouth. When we were going, it was a light drizzle, but that cleared away quickly and the rest of the day was dry bright & sunny! 🌞 Enough time for us to enjoy whilst we were there!

We arrived home by 8.30pm & unloaded all of our things off the mini bus. We made sure we didn't leave anything behind otherwise we wont be able to claim any of our lost property back once the driver leaves, so it was our responsibilty to make sure everything was back with us and not left behind. We all went back to our homes and washed ourselves to remove the sand & salty residues of the beach. I was so tired & exhausted all I wanted to do was just fall straight into bed, but couldn't until everything was all clean & tidy & making sure my kids were clean & fed 😊

I had a very fun time with my family & enjoyed myself. I love my family & spending quality time with them. It's what makes memories to treasure forever! 😘πŸ‘ͺπŸ‘πŸ‘«

Well guys this is the end of my post. Hope you enjoyed reading it.
I will be back again soon.
So until next time, take care & stay beautiful! πŸ˜™πŸ’– xXxXx
